Jessica + Matthew: A Wedding Story

The Love Story Started…

began when they were just 11 years old - in fact, you may remember Jessica and Matthew's love story from their proposal story. Matthew contacted some of our amazing Vow Vendors for their surprise proposal and that set the tone for their amazing wedding.

After Matthew’s surprise proposal at Venticello, the couple set their wedding date a year later. They used all of the same Vow Vendors for their beautiful wedding reception at Venticello. It was important to them to say their vows at their church in Modesto, in order to honor their Assyrian culture.

The traditions of an Assyrian wedding preserve the Assyrian culture and heritage. It’s traditions, such as these, that help to shape Assyrian identity. As an ancient culture, many of today’s Assyrian marriage rituals have been influenced and shaped by the changing years, although they remain steeped in tradition.

After the ceremony, the couple shuttled their guests to Venticello, where the celebration continued for the rest of their wedding day.

We, at The Vow Gold Country, were so honored that Jessica and Matthew selected such a special place in our Gold Country for their wedding celebrations.
