Allison + Charlie: A Love Story

The Love Story Started…

in high school, but at that time Allison and Charlie were just friends. The two went their separate ways with Allison heading to college and Charlie joining the Marines. Charlie ended up being stationed about an hour from the college that Allison was attending, and the two began spending every weekend together. It wasn’t until the two returned to their hometown that their romance began.

One Halloween, Allison made the first move and the two have been by each other’s side ever since. The two went on a weekend getaway to Santa Monica where Charlie proposed on the beach by the pier at sunset. Of course, Allison said “Yes!” without a moment’s hesitation.

Their first order of business when planning the wedding was a venue that would allow for an intimate reception with a rustic feel. Savanna Gardens checked all of the boxes and the wedding date was set.
